ተማከሩ እንዴ
ጉድሽ ነው ጉዴ ::

ተጨባብጠው ሳቁ
ሊተረክ ድብቁ
ታፍኖ የከረመው
ልባችን ያደገው
የፍቅር ቲያትሩ
ሊደመጥ -
ሊታይ ለሀገሩ ::

ተማክረዋል እንዴ !
ሳላውቅ ሳልሰማ
ፈዝዤ እኔማ
የልቤን ፊትሽ ላይ
ግልፅ ብሎ ሊታይ
ያንቺም ከኔ ፊት ላይ
ሊደምቅ ከፀሃይ
ቀርበን ስንወያይ
ጉድሽ ነው ጉዴ
መውደዴ መውደዴ
ተማክረዋል እንዴ

አየሁ ተረዳሁት
ሰማሁ አነበብኩት
ከፊትሽ ሲላወስ
ከጉንጪሽ ሲዳረስ
ሳይቆም ሲገሰግስ
አይን ሳይመርጥ ጥርስ
ገሃድ ወጥቶ ሲፈስ ::

የውስጤ ውስጥ ደስታ
ሽሽጉ ጨዋታ
ፊትሽ ላይ ሲሰፍር
አይኔ አይቶት ከምር
ወይ ፍቅር
ወይ ፍቅር
ወጣ ሊታይ ለሃገር::

የማልናገረው
ውስጤን የሚያድሰው
እንዳአበቦች መአዛ
የተሞላው ላዛ
የፍቅሩ ስንክሳር
ስፍሩ ሞልቶ እስከዳር
እጅግ ታወቀኝ
ልብሽ እንደያዘኝ::

ልቤ መውደዴ
ከልብሽ ጋ ሆዴ
አሴሩብን እንዴ
ጉድሽ ወጣ ጉዴ::
