The day that she was born
she's been
so sad,
Day in day out: cried,
cried, and cried
so bad.
In that her nameless language,
she became
annoyance,
Everyone enjoyed it though
engaged in
a tapping dance.
kinfolks giggled
and said yea, yea, yea
But she cried
and said nay, nay, nay.
Learnt lifting up and setting down
each foot and a good
walk of life,
Though many nays, many yeas
made her soul
tough and rough.
The designer at the end
gave her
a whistle call,
She became delightful
and smiled
the sweetest one of all.
She wished getting some ears
to share
that pleasure,
But everyone's busy
filling the teardrops up
in a larger tanker.
She giggled
and said yea, yea, yea
But kinfolks cried
and said nay, nay, nay.
